My WIP is numbers 1 and 2 in a series (may become just number 1) From the outset, i knew that I had too much for one novel.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2681775564258628407.post-67297186942274873362016-01-23T05:32:12.385-08:002016-01-23T05:32:12.385-08:00If I enjoy reading a book I want the author to wri...If I enjoy reading a book I want the author to write a series. A few authors I read have written a series set in a village and each book is a story of someone who lives in the village. I think these can be very formumatic but I still enjoy them. One series I read years ago was Barbara Taylor Bradford's A Woman of Substance, she even had a space of quite a few years before she wrote the final two books. The story is spanned ovcer generations so comletely new characters were introduced in each book. I think yours called for a series too Carol and I'm enjoying them. I do sometimes worry that they have become formulaic, but so far no one has complained. And they seem to see ok.JOhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03127111575563904349noreply@blogger.com
